1. Ticket Purchase

When you purchase tickets through Tixbud, you agree to the following terms:

  • Payment: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards and debit cards.
  • Pricing: Ticket prices are set by event organizers and may include applicable taxes and fees.
  • Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email with your ticket details immediately after purchase.
  • Ticket Delivery: Tickets are delivered digitally via email and are also available in your Tixbud account.

2. Refund & Cancellation Policy

2.1 Event Cancellation

If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

2.2 Event Rescheduling

If an event is rescheduled, your tickets will be valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund within 14 days of the reschedule announcement.

2.3 Customer-Initiated Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the event start time. Refund eligibility depends on the event organizer's policy:

  • Free events: No refund necessary
  • Paid events: Refund amount is at the organizer's discretion

3. Ticket Transfer

Tickets purchased through Tixbud are transferable unless specified otherwise by the event organizer. To transfer a ticket:

  • Log in to your Tixbud account
  • Go to "My Tickets" section
  • Select the ticket you wish to transfer
  • Enter the recipient's email address
  • The recipient will receive an email with instructions to claim the ticket

4. Event Entry & Verification

  • Digital Tickets: Present your digital ticket (printed or on mobile device) at the event entrance.
  • QR Code: Each ticket contains a unique QR code that will be scanned for entry.
  • ID Verification: For age-restricted events, valid ID may be required along with your ticket.
  • Duplicate Tickets: The first scan of a ticket will grant entry; subsequent scans will be denied.

5. Organizer Responsibilities

Event organizers using Tixbud agree to:

  • Provide accurate event information including date, time, location, and age restrictions
  • Honor all tickets purchased through Tixbud
  • Process refunds in accordance with their stated policy
  • Communicate any event changes or cancellations promptly

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Reselling tickets at prices higher than face value (scalping)
  • Purchasing tickets with fraudulent payment methods
  • Creating duplicate or counterfeit tickets
  • Using automated bots to purchase tickets
